After a few minutes of playing around in the admin section of my personal Wordpress blog, I figured out an incredibly easy way to get the uberVU widget in your sidebar. (works on Worpress 2.7. and later versions).

I am assuming you have got your hands on the widget code already. If not, read this, get the widget code (Step 3) and return to this article.

1. In your Wordpress admin you should go to the Appearence menu and select the Widgets submenu. It should look something like this:

2. You should see a list of all available widgets for your blog, that looks like this:

3. From this list, add a TEXT widget. It will appear in the column to the right, where you can drag it around to the position you want. I’ve placed mine right under the search widget.

4.Click on EDIT and just paste the uberVU widget code you got on the uberVU site. If you don’t have it, follow the steps on the site or in this article.

5. Click on Save Changes.

That’s it, you should now see the uberVU widget on your blog sidebar.
